At a recent ultrasound follicles were seen in both ovaries. does this mean i ovulated for that cycle? i am breastfeeding and hoping to have another baby, and am trying to determine if im ovulating. i get regular bleeding that matches my old periods?

Production of follicles, followed by maturation and release are all steps in the production of ovum and ovulation. It is not possible to determine whether you ovulated. Talk to the Dr who ordered the ultrasound for further explanation of the results. They also have a more complete picture since they know your history.
