Dx w/ pcos & ra. currently on metformin & plaquenil. struggling to lose weight despite good diet & exercise for 2 yrs. last week took medrol dose pack & lost 7 lbs in 6 days. could this indicate an additional hormone issue? also have low dhea?

I assume you're not diabetic & your thyroid status is normal. Have you consulted a dietician or nutritionist to determine your ideal weight& daily calorie intake? I wouldn't think that medrol dospak would cause that amount of weight loss on its own as I've prescribed it often and never observed significant weight loss from it. I can't place any significance on your weight loss from taking it
