Endometrial U/S on day 7 of a "25 day" cycle is not concerning. General agreement for biopsy occurs when the thickness of the endometrium is one cm, and at 40, increases in endometrium vs. 20's and 30's is due to increased estrogen production to stimulate ovulation with aging eggs.
