I used to work at CDC, before HIV but in the Lab Branch. So any test can have false positives and false negatives. I would write directly to the CDC for the most uptodate answer to this question or to the lab who did your tests. Or go to Pubmed.gov and look at all publications that mention false positive/negative tests for HIV 4th Generation.
