In my experience these brain mri findings are commonly caused by ageing and by presence of hypertension.. In view of these findings you are at risk for more cardiovascular disease. See your MD for an EKG, assessment of blood pressure, prediabetes,, status of cholesterol, ldl, hdl, triglycerides. No smoking, ideal weight, regular exercise, moderate caffeine, low alcohol intake, good sleep, for lifestyle.

The lesions may be secondary to prior trauma, migraine, or smoking, and not feasible to correlate without a great deal more information. Ask your doctor as to significance based on correlation with your rationale for testing.
