Normal diet, hydrated, no alcohol intake. but rapid weight loss of 5% in 2wks with persistent urine ketone 2+. only symptoms are abdominal pain, heart palpitations, lightheadedness, and leg weakness. normal fasting blood sugar at 109. dx & tx?

Your symptoms are quite consistent with diabetic ketoacidosis except the glycemia of 109 and I wonder if you had a blood test for that fasting blood sugar or that number was from a finger stick with glucometer. You need a full blood test which includes bicarbonate level for ruling out metabolic acidosis and another glycemia for confirmation. You should go to urgent care or ER with those symptoms.
