Those are characteristics of benign lymph nodes. The normal cbc is also reassuring. If there is.one particular lymph node or growth that you're concerned with you could consult a general surgeon for his/her opinion about an excisional biopsy for a definitive tissue diagnosis. I would tend to follow the advice of your attending MD who knows all your findings re symptoms, physical exam,other test

Lymph nodes in the groin have been sore and swollen off and on the past few months. Gyn did a cbc, urinalysis and metabolic panel -- everything normal. Does that rule out cancer or anything serious?
