What does it mean when a doctor says there is fat in the liver? they said it very subtlety before moving to the next thing and was unable to ask about it, is it something to be concerned about? something i can do about it?

NAFLD or Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease is a condition in which fat builds up in the liver. Possible causes: Diabetes, High Cholesterol, OverWeight, and/or Certain Medications. Symptoms: Mostly no symptoms. Diagnoses: Blood Work, Ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI & sometimes Liver Biopsy. Treatment: Weight Loss, healthy diet, regular follow-up with your doctor to monitor fatty liver.
