We are working on reducing my meloxicam dosage 15mg to 7.5mg. i'm starting to take half tablets, wonder if it would be ok to skip a day, to reduce the level a little faster. i've been told there's no withdrawal issues with it?

There is no withdrawal with meloxicam. The pain experienced when starting it may come back in case the reason for the pain was not addressed and that is where having a clear plan with your doc may help.
