Perhaps: For susceptible individuals many medications can cause some tolerance and withdrawal. The medicine does not have to be "addictive" for this to occur.

It is possible: It is possible but it would not be like withdrawal symptoms that you see with narcotics. More than likely, you may see an increase in pain that was being helped by the Mobic (meloxicam) when one stops it.

No withdrawal: Mobic (meloxicam) is an non steroidal anti-inflammatory medication. You can stop Mobic (meloxicam) without tapering. It is not known to cause any withdrawal symptom.
