Shoulder pain (surgery about 8 years ago) a few months ago i started getting bad pain again. i just got an xray done and was told "mild degenerative changes of acromioclavicular and glenohumeral joints" awaiting mri results but wat x-ray results mean?

Those are the common (non specific) findings on plain shoulder X-ray, just a mild wear and tear (degenerative) shoulder joints, especially in your case who already had surgery for that shoulder years ago. You just have to wait for the MRI results for a more accurate assessment.
