If you drink too much water after the dinner you have to pay back with frequent bathroom trips at night which can interrupt your sleep. If you are dehydrated you may have cramp during sleep. So adequate fluid intake during the day time but do not drink much after the dinner will help your sleep. Under normal living condition with an average body mass, fluid intake of 1.5-2 liters a day is enough.
