Perforated ulcer usually produces dramatic mid upper abdominal pain with associated tenderness. Your symptoms are more characteristic of gall bladder pathology. Do you have a family history of gall stones? An upper abdominal ultrasound will visualize the gall bladder, stomach and pancreas.
