If you brush after every meal with a soft brush for at least 1-2 minutes as well as your gums than you are performing good oral hygiene. You don't need to rinse with mouthwash more than twice a day, remember some have alcohol content . No diabetes from mouthwash but too much sugar in diet will cause diabetes.

Periodontal disease has been liked with diabetes, cardiac disease, stroke, low birth weight, etc. It's a chronic infection that spreads via blood stream. You are, however, harming yourself by overuse of chemicals. Mouth wash is poor substitute for floss. Please see a gum specialist, a Periodontist, to help you achieve optimal gum/bone health and disease elimination.

In a UK study those people using mouth wash twice a day or more, were found to have 50% more risk of developing Pre Diabetese/Diabetese than those using once a day or less. You can reduce the risk of Diabetese by cutting down use of mouth wash. For Dental and Gum care you should go to Dentist for regular cleaniing and Check up every six months as a prevention of Gogivitis besides Brushing and Flossin
