August 2021 i learned that im iron deficient anemic. i didnt eat meat before; i do now. since then, i take ferrous sulfate. i now have headaches daily, an unbalanced feeling initially when i stand, neck & left shoulder pain. what test do i need?

iron deficiency anemia is unusual is a male and needs to be evaluated by your PCP. A 22 y/o male should not be iron deficient unless you are loosing blood , which is usually from your GI tract. Are you taking anti inflammatory medication such as motrin or naprosyn on a regular basis? Do you drink alcohol regularly ? Dr Amico is correct and critical to get a second opinion. Also check vitamins such as B-12. Do image neck. Find experienced doctor perhaps gastroenterologist??
