There is always some electrochemical irritation triggering episodic seizures, and catamenial events are triggered by hormonal shifts. Although uncommon, can be usually fully controlled with appropriate anti-epileptic drugs. See a neurologist, and do NOT drive, do activities at heights, use power equipment, bathe or swim alone, until fully controlled.
