No risk, no worry. See reply to previous question. This is a normal blood test result, and EBV is not transmitted among family and friends. There is absolutely no reason this should be "affecting [your] life badly". Discuss in person with your doctor; or if s/he isn't up to speed on EBV, ask for referral to an infectious diseases specialist. You can expect very reassuring advice.
