A member asked:

For 9 months, i have increasing petechiae on lower arms and a few elsewhere. my platelet, prothrombin time, blood count, infection screen, hba1c, vitamins were normal but have ana 1:320, fatigue, aches, malaise, dry skin. what are possible causes?

Your lab result and symptoms are suggestive of auto-immune disorder and that can explain the petechiae as well. It would be prudent to consult a rheumatologist. Visit this site for general information on this topic: https://medlineplus.gov/autoimmunediseases.html

The ANA 1:320 is suggestive of Auto Immune Disorder (Problem with the Immune System). A visit with the Rheumatologist/ Immunologist might be helpful at this time.
