Missed enough doses of baclofen to have withdrawl symptoms. when withdrawal symptoms started; the backpain that was being treated disappeared. possible the drug was causing pain and at the point of withdrawl its effects were "turned off"

I don't think that baclofen caused your back pain. It should be slowly tapered off to avoid its classic withdrawal symptoms which can be severe. Hopefully you've dodged true withdrawal issues.
