Yes. Thought due to low estrogen but replacing it increases risk of blood clots. Old VA trial in men given estrogen to see if it protects them also increased blood clots and deaths.BP also tends to go up with age ESp after menopause and that is major risk for heart attack. AND LOWERING BP decreases risk. Discuss.
