Duloxetene itself can cause liver injury and alcohol can certainly worsen it. The conventional advice is not to drink alcohol when on duloxetene. You definitely shouldn't omit duloxetene on your own even for a day. Changing the time of taking your medication won't mitigate alcohol's effect. Your prescribing physician can best advise you about mild alcohol intake in your case.
