My tonsils are hugh constantly even when not ill , one touches the thing that hangs down and the other isn't far from touching the other tonsil. is this a concern?

Oversized tonsils could have adversely affected Tonge position and thereby shape and size of palate during childhood and teen years. See Orthodontist for evaluation. If you snore, have sleep apnea, are a mouth breather, see an EENT or Pulmonologist.

If there is no pain, no difficulty in swallowing or breathing, you may watch and wait. If you get pain, bleeding, ulcers, swallowing or breathing difficulty , fever, weight loss or enlargement of lymph glands see and ENT doctor.
