my tonsils do not look the same at all. one looks like a round oval and the other looks like a scrambled mess with a slit. should i be concerned?

Crypts of the tonsil: Most tonsils are the same size. Asymmetry could signal an underlying disturbance. What you appear to be describing is that one has more crypts than the other one. Try gargling with warm salt water 3 to 4 times a day. If that Is not effective. Good luck and Feel better
