It is not uncommon to have tonsils of different sizes, and it is quite possible that mouth breathing with your head to one side might contribute to the variation. You might also have some throat irritation from something you are doing. However, the important fact is that an ENT specialist who has examined you, told you not to worry about it. I would take that advice.
