Are you taking amitriptyline to treat depression.? Your body usually adjusts to the medication increase after a week or two and you'll feel better. . If you're taking it for other than depression it may take a little longer. Notify your physician if the fatigue doesn't resolve in another week.

Amitriptyline can cause fatigue. Please have a physical exam to know if you have an illness. If not please discuss medication with your Psychiatrist. If you are not confident with your Doctor please see another for a second opinion.
