Depends how you feel: If you have leg pain, have you had an MRI of the low back? If the leg is staying the same or getting worse, and you are not responding to oral medications or physical therapy, you can consider a spine injection as an option.

First, understand : That sciatic nerve pain is pain radiating into the leg with back pain that may or may not be associated with it. There could be one of multiple reasons for your pain that if it has persisted or progressed in spite of having it for some period of time you should see your doctor if otc medication, time & activity modification don' t help, get checked

No: You may also need to consider a tapering dose of steroids. (anti-inflmmatories, not the type that are famous with elite athletes). Your doctor could prescribe this. If your leg pain fails to respond or you were to begin to feel any weakness in the leg of foot you should see a doctor for a thorough exam and an mri>.
