Need a root canal on top premolar & i know i most likely will need a palate injection along with buccal infiltration now. does the buccal infiltration first make palate injection almost painless? i keep hearing different stories?

Instead of listening to different stories get the root canal done before you lose the tooth. If you need a palatal injection than the doctor will put numbing gel on palate so you won't feel a great amount of pain.

Palatal injection can be painful, but only lasts for very brief interval. Attempting dental treatment (a surgical procedure) to accomplish root canal treatment can be painful, but for a prolonged period of time. Seek the least painful alternative.
