Return to DDS: It sounds like you are having a hard time with this infection. I suggest you return to your dds and have him consult with your md. The current infection may or may not be related to the previous root canal treatment. The antibiotic may not be specific to the bacteria causing the infection. The complexity of your case requires more information. I suggest you return to your doctors. Good luck -.
