What is the diagnostic yield for a 24hour eeg? what % of epileptics have normal 24 hour eegs? or is this is a good argument against epilepsy?

Longtime EEG’s can be inpatient videos over 2 or 3 days or ambulatory over 72- 96 hrs. 24 hrs is likely a bit too brief to be definitive
