A member asked:

Does regularly holding it in when one has to pee increase or decrease the ability to do so? do the muscles get stronger and lead to being able to wait longer or weaker and lead to incontinence? seems i've heard both, looking for a definitive answer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Holding in urine does not make the bladder muscle stronger or weaker. But it is a good idea to answer nature when it calls or soon after. Pl ignore opinions regarding medical matters by lay people as they are almost always wrong.
