Infected 9 days ago with covid 19. pcr now negative. crp reading 16mg/l< 10 mg/l. all vitals normal range. only cough left. cough is constant and making it very difficult to breathe & talk. codopar seem not to work. what should i do ? medicine?

The cough may be related to post COVID-19 inflammatory changes in the airway. If you have chest tightness, wheeze, shortness of breath, please discuss the use of an Albuterol and inhaled steroid with your physician. A chest image may then be recommended. Cough may linger during after the infection. Airway lining may be irritated. Humidified air, a cough prep with no codeine, nasal saline may help.
