I am afraid i have lung cancer.i have been having a persistent cough when i talk for two years that doesnt go away and now after covid i feel chest pain when i breathe. what examination should i do ?

See your doc : For a focused exam and detailed history. Based on findings and previous known comorbidities further tests, including imaging may be ordered. Lung cancer appears unlikely otherwise and work up should clarify.

Cough : The vast majority of people with your symptoms do not have cancer. That would be true even if you weren’t 26 years old, but it’s even more true at your age. If you’re concerned, talk to your doctor and have them get a chest x-ray.
