A member asked:

I have had 4 ct scans of my head this year. how much do i have to worry about radiation exposure?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It is likely that the additional risk is not measurable. CTs provide important information and a marginal increase in radiation exposure is worth the risk. You can reduce your risk of cancer by eating a mostly vegetarian diet, avoid alcohol, tobacco street drugs, avoid excessive exposure to sun, get HPV vaccine, exercise 30 minutes each day, drink enough water so your urine is mostly colorless.
