I am concerned that i might have bv again. i originally had an iud placed in june 2021 but had it removed this month due to a continued cycle of getting infections. i currently have no symptoms except for a fishy odor discharge?

Vaginal discharge with fishy odor is somewhat typical for BV. You can get better without treatment but if symptoms get worse, you should ask your doctor for Rx.
