What is height vertigo and can it be treated or cured? high places (window looking out tall building, balcony at theater, etc.) sometimes make me feel a bit off-balance. not afraid of heights and no spinning feeling. scientific explanation?

It is acrophobia (fear of heights), not height vertigo. You only use the term vertigo when you have spinning along with nausea, sometimes vomit when in that situation. You can train yourself by a method called cognitive behavior treatment. Phobia is a true behavior disorder.
