The windows in my kitchen are 6ft away. they are large. i have no window curtains. i have a bottom cupboard that is lopsided, so door doesnt close normally. crack at top is about 1.5 inches. i store snacks & canned goods there. duration is 1.1 yrs?

I do not see any problem if your fresh snacks are covered well. The canned foods should be safe by the expiration date.
