Is it okay to take 0.5mg ativan 3 days in row without having to worry about habituation or anything like that? seeing how its a small dose?

If solely, 3 days of Ativan, there is literally no blatant risk of habituation or serious adverse effects. Problems ensue with chronic usage, but would certainly discuss at length with physician who prescribed and full spectrum of indications and risk benefit ratios should be addressed.

Always take meds as prescribed. Habituation and side effects are always possible otherwise and these are important parts that should be discussed with your prescriber.

Although a small dose like this over only 3 days does not typically cause habituation, please only take as prescribed and if needed. We are all slightly different, and some people are more prone to "addiction" than others (and you may not know this in advance). When needed, the benzodiazepine's can be very helpful. However, they can also easily become addicting, so be careful not to over use.
