A member asked:

My 9am cortisol was 270. a short synacthen test stimulated them it to 680 so i think it ruled out addinsons? would it rule out secondary adrenal insufficiency too? also have low progesterone, low normal t4, tsh? what other tests could be done? thanks?

The fist cortisol seems high. Thus ruling out ANH low adrenal problems. But need normal values. Addisons's is VERY rare. As your local team there have talked to your and examined you and seen all of your tests they are they best ones to ask this question. Cheers
