I agree with Dr.Le that the great majority of times these symptoms are not serious, but you may be experiencing myoclonic jerks rather than muscle twitches. Sometimes myoclonus is due to other pathology. Should symptoms persist, consult a neurologist for accurate diagnosis,advice & reassurance. This will give you peace of mind.
