Six hours of fasting is enough. CO2 result does not change with fasting or not but test error can result a low CO2 and the most often cause is too much time lapse between specimen taken and testing. There is no need for a redrawn specimen if the results are not much outside the norms which can affect the management.

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, it would have helped had you provided the actual results of glucose and other tests. CO2 is not affected by fasting. Wish you good health!
