If creon has not fixed a faecal elastase level and i have chronic pancreatitis and a faecal e level of 56, what are my next options? i'm not diabetic and have mitochondrial disease also?

I recommend ensuring that your creon dose be maximized taking into your individual symptoms, degree of diarrhea, your weight and the fat content of your stools. Be sure to also take 1/2 doses with snacks allowed in your diabetic diet. Use nonprescription anti diarrhea meds according to instructions. Your gastroenterologist, diabetic physician and dietician should be involved in your care.
