"Worst case scenario"? Some people with omicron get seriously ill, rarely even life threatening, but extremely rarely. The risk of long term serious outcomes on your lung function isn't known, but this probably also is rare in vaccinated persons. Although I'm not aware of standards in your country, probably you qualify for and should have a third dose of vaccine.

As with other respiratory viruses, there may be an associated asthma exacerbation. There is a variable course, but mild asthmatics tend to recover well. Follow asthma action plan, avoid smoke, allergens and receive a booster. Use a mask and social distancing.
