Migraines: Migraine headaches are blood vessel pain. A cycle of constriction, followed by dilation is the norm. Usually, the pain is one-sided, and located behind, below or above one eye. Migraines are more common when someone is not sleeping well or around menstrual cycle hormone fluctuations. Women are affected much more commonly than men. Avoid caffeine, nicotine, and sleep well.
