Is it safe to get an mri contrast a few hours after ct contrast? how safe is the contrast? i heard it had lawsuits behind it. the reason for testing is a seizure since they could not find anything on the ct scan?

Would delay the second contrast injection for at least 24 hrs, as there is a remote risk of kidney problems and too much contrast over a brief time would provide additive risk. Make sure you are well hydrated prior to the MRI.
