Three cups of milk per day is a good way of getting most of the calcium and all the vitamin D needed (if Vit D fortified). I wish more of my patients would drink three cups a day. These benefits occur for regular milk (150 cal/cup) 2% fat or low fat milk (100 cal/cup) or skim milk (80 cal/cup). If excess energy intake isn't a problem for you (calories), you may select your choice.
