Lung functytest results - the fev1/fvc ratio is mildly reduced, findings may be suggestive of mild obstructed lung disease vs normal variant . what does this mean? my doctor is out for a week, will talk with her later. extream dyspnea/sputum?

The severity of the abnormality of the lung function test is not as important as how you feel. You obviously had previous evaluation is why you had the lung function test. It is important to follow the agreed treatment plan until you could see her. If you smoke or around people that do/dust/fumes stay away to allow the inflammation in your lungs to get better. Bad dyspnea? go to ER or urgent care.

A virtual appointment with HT is available. The result if mild indicates mild obstructive airflow. The extreme dyspnea though warrants immediate evaluation. The sputum production may indicate an infection, rule out COVID-19 and Influenza.
