If your BP was taken on an accurate device used properly the you have Hypertension of pregnancy but most likely had higher than healthy BP before you were pregnant. Discuss with your OB and find out all of you previous BPS to compare. Do you need a lArge cuff? Has you home device been approved as accurate during pregnancy? Few have. If truly high then it is important for both you & baby to check

Hypertension during pregnancy is a serious situation that requires proper treatment. Palpitations are not a normal characteristic of pregnancy. If you can take your pulse at rest and it's usually over 105 or if it's irregular, I recommend being evaluated by your physician or a cardiologist for evaluation & testing which would include an EKG, echocardiogram,outpatient heart monitoring, thyroid test
