I read a question on here that a guy was repeatedly negative on hiv duo tests out to 60 days then took an hiv rna test and became positive. that obviously scares me. did anyone get to the bottom of that scenario?

As stated in the previous answer, the sensitivity for fourth generation HIV test after 7 weeks should be 99.7%, not 100% conclusive. That means out of 1,000 people tested, 3 people who have false negative result may be missed. For those with false negative results, HIV RNA test can be positive, but again not 100%.
