Can i take vistaril with zoloft? i take 25 mg of zoloft daily, and have a prn prescription of vistaril 25 mg for insomnia and anxiety. i have been having trouble sleeping and would like to take my vistaril tonight and was wondering if this is safe?

Google "drug interactions" to find many websites that address any potential problems between drugs. (The one I just checked, by WebMD.com, shows no interaction between these drugs.)

There should not be any incompatible drug-drug interactions, and if Zoloft does not cause drowsiness or sedation, added soporific effects of Vistaril would not be encountered. So, at doses described, appears quite safe.
