Very unlikely: If she is in addisonian crisis, this alone would explain the pain and kidney problems. This is a very serious condition, and needs close medical monitoring. Decreasing oral steroids too quickly can also cause similar complaints. I think the primary concern should be evaluating her hormonal status, which will help resolve her pain.
